Despite the sourdough starter only being 24 hrs old, I decided to make a small loaf for shits n giggles with the discard, ignoring everything the baking gurus have said. Now it's 1 am and I'm here sitting with a perfectly fine fist-sized loaf. It really is that simple.

A more or less normal day in the life of @HandsomeCthulhu:
1) 3hrs of OT covering for the other guy's vacation at the sewage plant at 7:30am
2) Umpire a coach pitch baseball game at 11am
3) A good kid for whom I did his drivers ed car hours who's joining the Air Force's grad party at 1pm in a bigass rainstorm
4) Inspect a campground's little treatment plant
5) Get involved with helping some teenage counselors learn how to run saws and clear a downed tree from the road as I left
6) Inspect a yuppie lakeside sex hut place's little treatment plant
7) Have a beer while failing at avoiding pleasant conversation at the Wooly Pig and getting my growlers filled
8) Call my cousin's wife to learn how breadmaking works because I'm angry the Amish lady from whom I got kickass bread at her honor shop during drivers ed trips closed her honor shop and I've decided the best revenge will be to make even better bread myself
9) Get beat at cornhole at my friend's house who just shot himself in the leg and then go 50-50 at darts
10) Apparently learn Captain Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager was Columbo's wife while watching my Columbo dvds before bed
