We passed a pretty cool law in 2023! #BreakEmUp
Good piece in the Minnesota Reformer today by @justinformn on the costs of the pending Sutter-Allina hospital merger. minnesotareformer.com/2026/0…

Do you ever wonder why your hospital keeps changing its name?

Why does renting a car have to suck so much. I mean I know the answer is monopolies, but goddamn is @Budget a pain in the ass. #BreakEmUp

Lost track of the number of times I've been told you can't campaign on antimonopoly issues. Here is a guy in a dead heat in a state Trump won by nearly 60% centering his campaign on it. Ppl realize they are getting screwed and are waiting for politicians to catch up. #BreakEmUp
Watch me do a job interview with the worst person ever and learn how noncompete agreements are trapping 30 million Americans in jobs they can't leave.

Honored to join consumer advocates and small businesses today in advocating for legislation that would prohibit surveillance pricing in Minnesota. #BreakEmUp

The expanding security state and the surveillance economy is a terrifying mix. #BreakEmUp
When ICE scans your face with it's Mobile Fortify app, it's entered into a 270M-person database, and your biometrics are stored for 15 years, even if you're a US citizen and no match is found. No rules. No opt-out. ICE says the app overrides birth certificates.

.@JDScholten has been an unmatched champion for taking on the Big Ag monopolies that hurt farmers and drive up costs at the grocery store. I'm proud to have his endorsement and to fight alongside him for an economy that feeds people, not corporate profits.

THIS! We need more leaders that recognize it’s THEIR responsibility to hold corporate power to account. #BreakEmUp
Great to hear from folks who don’t use Amazon. But we can’t make this a question of personal responsibility. That lets our leaders off the hook. Amazon is breaking the law—question is whether we have the courage to stand up. I’m running for AG to exercise that kind of courage.

Monopolies have been on a tear recently, but as I told members this weekend, it is not inevitable. I wrote a little about how we put in the hard yards. #BreakEmUp

I often tell our members that our antimonopoly history is what keeps me optimistic, which is why I loved this paragraph from @doctorow. The work continues! #BreakEmUp pluralistic.net/2025/11/20/i…

This! 1000% this! We don’t need more members of Congress looking to suck up to corporate power and Reed won’t need an education on antimonopoly, he’s lived it for years! #BreakEmUp
It’s time to take back our city—and our country—from bullies inside and outside the government. I'm running for Congress to take on corporate greed and stand up for working people in IL-07 and across the country. Together, we can fight back against concentrated power, and win.

The FTC dropping its ban on noncompetes is total bullshit. BUT, it makes me extra appreciative of the #mnleg leaders that voted to ban their use in MN in 2023 and stood up to the corporate interests that tried to roll back the ban this past session. #BreakEmUp

Setting aside that shilling for insurers is odd, this is just BS. It was the antimonopoly movement talking about PBMs, hospital consolidation, PE rollups, GPO kickbacks, MA capitation and more while folks were fixated on tinkering with insurance coverage. #BreakEmUp
Not only do corporate landlords own only a tiny sliver of the U.S. housing stock, but they usually seem to *lower* rents instead of raising them. The antitrust progressives are just plain wrong on this one. noahpinion.blog/p/corporatio…
