TOPIC #102: SEE BEYOND THE PRICE: WHY Pi's TRUE VALUE NOT DEBUT YET Dear Global Pioneers, Happy Friday! Today is U.S. Independence Day! 🇺🇸 So I’ve had some time to reflect—and I want to share something important with our Pi Network community-Because I find too many pioneers disappointed with the Pi price. 🎥 Mixed Reactions in the Community Recently, I’ve been watching many videos from fellow pioneers. Some feel stressed and disappointed about Pi’s current price drop. But I also saw some great YouTubers providing long-term education and positivity. 🙏 Thank you to all the content creators who are helping others stay grounded. --- 💬 “Good News, But No Price Increase?” While our GCV community were excited by the Core Team’s Pi2Day announcements, yet a lot pioneers confused when prices didn’t rise. Why? From my perspective, I believe this is due to cognitive biases among many pioneers. This probably related to Pi Network referral mechnism while a lot pioneers want to keep their referees to keep on mining and give them unrealistice hope. In the beginning, there is misunderstood what the Pi Network is about and they didn’t take the time to study it, resulting in unrealistic expectations. This issue arises from the misleading information many pioneers have received, coupled with a lack of in-depth research on what the Pi Network really entails. This misunderstanding often leads to disappointment. Because they never pay attention to Pi Nework is build up a real economy. Pi on exchange market is not for speculationt o earn profit. Pi on exchange market is open the door to the world for mass adoption. Almost all cryptocurrencies mean that holders can sell and get cash. Therefore, most holders of cryptocurrency will sell within 24 hours after OM. This behavior is why we don't currently have a cryptocurrency that can serve as a true currency for the economy. Most cryptocurrencies are viewed as investment assets, except for stablecoins. However, the Pi Network, even when on the exchange market, is not just another cryptocurrency for investment; it serves a real-world economic purpose and aims to solve financial problems. The price in the exchange market is currently used for investment or liquidity as we aim for mass adoption. However, this is not our ultimate goal. So, I urge all pioneers to wake up and realize that this is just a temporary phase. We will progress towards being a utility token and establishing the value of the Pi Network blockchain. The current low price acts as a filter to change the ownership of Pi, ensuring that only those who truly understand and value Pi remain in our ecosystem. Therefore, there is no need to be overly concerned about the current price. This low price can actually promote mass adoption worldwide. It’s not a selling phase because we haven’t completed the full OM. The real value hasn’t yet been debut. Of course, we need some pioneers to sell, allowing others with fewer Pi to increase their wealth. Everything has different perspectives, and it depends on how you choose to view it. Now, with the price being low, it’s an excellent time to buy—this can be seen as good news. When the price is high, sellers will be pleased.--- --- 🔁 Pi Is NOT Just Another Token Most cryptocurrencies are: Bought to flip Seen as investment assets, not currencies But Pi is different: ✅ It’s designed to be used, not flipped ✅ It’s building a grassroots digital economy ✅ Even on exchanges, its role is for liquidity and mass adoption—not speculation We don’t want pioneers or investors to sell merely because the price rises; that could lead to speculation. Instead, let’s focus on utility development and support pioneers who don’t have enough Pi. When the price going up so that investors can gain confidence in the Pi community and join our Pi family. We need mass adoption. Any great cause requires time. If anyone tells you that you can get rich quickly, be wary; they are likely scammers. You might earn a bit at first, but eventually, you will be trapped by those sell faster than you and run away, and you will lose money. It is called "pass the parcel'' Those who sell late will be trapped. So you must be cautious about any news. Because these news is designed for you. 💰 Don’t Fear Low Prices—Understand Them And See Through Them > The current low price is a filter not failure. It filters out speculators and brings in true believers. We haven’t even launched full Open Mainnet yet. This is not the time to see in panic—this is the time to prepare. The real value of Pi is not shown on a chart—it will be revealed through its utility and ecosystem. The current low exchange market price comes from pioneers who are behind in their cognition. and that’s natural and acceptable. Wealth will naturally reside with those who deserve it; you cannot obtain wealth out side of your cognition. Many pioneers see only the surface and often lose money in investments because they become overly emotional and vulnerable to manipulation by big investors ( whales) who can control the market. They can use those retail investors weakness and let rumours circulate such as " Pi is worthless", it’s usually because whales are looking to buy from you; they have confidence in the long-term value of Pi and they need to buy huge amount. So they want more pioneers in panic and sell in rush so they can buy at lowest price. Consider a child holding gold or jewelry who is tricked into thinking it is worthless and is instead offered candy. Most children will take the candy because they know it has immediate value, but they don’t realize that gold can buy thousands of candies. This scenario is similar to what you are experiencing within the Pi Network community, highlighting why the price is low. The more attacks at GCV and the rumors prevent you to buy and encourage you to sell means Pi has real value. So most pioneers can only see the oppostion of the truth. --- 🧘 A Zen Lesson on Perspective Let me share this story: > An old lady had two daughters. One sold umbrellas, the other shoes. On sunny days she cried for the umbrella daughter. On rainy days she cried for the shoe seller. A Zen monk told her: “Smile when it rains—for the umbrellas. Smile when it’s sunny—for the shoes.” She became known as the laughing old lady. 🌞 Rain or shine, your view changes your reality. --- ✅ What Can We Do Now? Recipes: 🛠 Keep mining and referring 🔄 Circulate Pi. Use it in real Dapps and marketplaces and all ecosystem, offline small barters. HOLD Pi NOT SELL 📢 Educate Pioneers and actively post GCV education and activities. Help fight misinformation. 🧘 Be active promote partial Pi GCV ecosystem and GCV education. Expand GCV community to 200 countries. --- 💎 Final Words We at Global GCV and CT are committed to building real value and protecting more pioneers from losing their wealth. GCV CT focus on Pi coin value while CT focus on blockchain value. As for GCV, I believe it's entirely possible if all 60 million active pioneers can improve their cognition. GCV is for ecosystem value measurement and setup standard. It should be freely convert between FIAT and Pi coin for ecosystem but not for speculation. It is essential for the ecosystem to have a GCV; otherwise, it cannot function effectively. In terms of future dependence on the exchange market for converting Pi to fiat. Our focus should be on helping CT expand the adoption of Pi coin and the Pi blockchain both within our community and beyond. GCV is the key to all DApps and the ecosystem's long-term development. From my perspective, I see CT steadily and calmly building real value for us. What we need to do is actively participate and provide our support especially adoption of GCV.
