Morethan a decade ago, I wrote about the indispensable role of #civilsociety in advancing #waterconservation. Today, that message resonates with even greater urgency. Across the world, #water is increasingly at the centre of the #climatecrisis, #foodsecurity, #publichealth, #economicstability, and social resilience. Governments alone cannot address these challenges. The 5th batch of the A-MDP Training Programme commenced today at ni-msme, Hyderabad. The 5-day capacity-building programme has been specially designed for officials of the Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprises Department, Government of Assam, to enhance institutional capabilities and strengthen support mechanisms for MSMEs across the state. A total of 31 officials are participating in the programme, gaining insights and knowledge that will contribute towards creating a more enabling environment for MSME growth, entrepreneurship promotion and enterprise development in Assam.
