It's still alpha, rough around the edges, and probably has bugs. That's exactly why I'm sharing it now.
iNote is a simple on-chain note service built on Base.
The idea is straightforward: your notes belong to you. Not to a company, not to a cloud provider, not to a database that can disappear tomorrow.
How it works:
โข Notes are encrypted in your browser before they're stored
โข The encryption key is derived from your wallet signature
โข Only encrypted data is written onchain
โข No accounts, no passwords, no subscriptions
You only pay gas.
That's it.
I built iNote because I've always felt crypto should be about more than money. Self-custody shouldn't stop at assets. It should apply to information too.
No monthly fees. No premium plan. No token. No monetization.
Just a small tool that lets you store encrypted notes on Base.
If you try it, I'd love to hear what breaks, what feels confusing, and what you'd improve.
