On April 8, Reclamation will begin a spring #PulseFlow from Keswick Dam to boost survival for migrating juvenile Chinook salmon.
Flows will rise rapidly starting around April 8, reaching ~11,000 cfs at Wilkins Slough.

We continue to see some increases in abnormally dry conditions, especially across far northern portions of California & the eastern slope. A minor increase in D1 Moderate conditions has also been recorded.

Drought has returned to California.
Okay, it's not a lot and it's definitely not unexpected.
➡️ With a Drought Severity and Coverage Index of 20 (out of 500), it is the first time the drought monitor has been this high since August 15, 2023 (DSCI 33).
