During the exercise held today (September 21, 2024)—which was built on the successful completion of a table-top exercise conducted on August 14, 2024—the participants had to tackle a simulated scenario in which terrorists launched cyber attacks against the 🇭🇰HK International Airport✈️ & the 🇲🇴Companhia de Electricidade de Macau🏢 in an attempt to paralyse public services & cause public panic.
The terrorists not only placed suspicious items & operated drones to create chaos but also tried to carry out armed attacks on citizens. However, the participants of the exercise responded swiftly to stop & apprehend the terrorists.
