• 1962 Shelby 260 Cobra • This is CSX 2003, one of the earliest serialized Cobras and a huge piece of Shelby history. Back in 1962, Henry Ford II and Ford’s Special Vehicles Team actually tested this car to help secure the production deal that launched Shelby American. It was completed by Ed Hugus’s European Cars in Pittsburgh as an experimental prototype, and it’s believed to be the only one of the five Hugus-built cars that still carries its original 260-cubic-inch 'Experimental High Performance' V8, along with its original transmission and rear end.
