The Herald series on alcohol and Scotland this week is fascinating (I would say this, I know). It’s looking at every angle including sports sponsorship by the alcohol industry, which is something SHAAP wants to see changed. #callingtime
All sports should be about promoting fun, participation, health and wellbeing, and our love of sports should not be exploited by an industry that relies on making money by us consuming their products in quantities that harm us.

And that should involve not promoting alcohol, tobacco or gambling. A hard thing to do in the current economic crisis but morally the right thing to do. Always support and promote football before the brands .
