RECAP 🎥 | Today, President Ramaphosa reminded the youth of South Africa that the struggle of young people did not begin with the class of 1976. “…they stood on the shoulders of earlier generations, leaders such as Anton Lembede, Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu, Oliver Tambo, Albertina Sisulu, Lilian Ngoyi and Robert Sobukwe, who moved the liberation struggle towards mass mobilisation and direct action.
They were shaped, too, by a wider current of liberation. Across the continent, the struggles of Ghana, Algeria, Mozambique, Angola and the Congo showed that colonialism could be defeated” said the President.
