Vasantotsav at Lok Bhavan has come to represent the living pulse of Uttarakhand, where nature, livelihoods, and community energy meet. It has become a reflection of how the state nurtures its people, traditions, and aspirations together. Reviewed the preparations for Vasantotsav 2026 with the concerned officials. I am pleased to announce that the festival will be held from 27 February to 1 March 2026, with a renewed vision and expanded engagement. This year, Vasantotsav will place a strong emphasis on empowering those who sustain Uttarakhand’s grassroots economy. Floriculture, honey, aromatic products, and millets will be showcased alongside the efforts of farmers, women’s self help groups, and young entrepreneurs who are shaping new opportunities through innovation and enterprise. From this edition onwards, exemplary contributions by progressive farmers, women achievers, and youth led startups will be honoured with the Governor’s Special Award.
