<BUIDL Together: Highlighting Our Early Builders> It is truly a special feeling when you're building for a common mission together with other dedicated builders, including those who had incredible exits (10M and $200M exits), those who are operating an app with millions of creators, and young but seasoned web3 entrepreneur who won the Eth Denver hackathon out of 250 teams or so, using Story's on-chain IP registration. Some of the apps here already raised venture funding from top-tier AUM funds in both web3/crypto and web2, building on Story. All of us at Story team feel incredibly humbled by their presence during our pre-public testnet stage and feel deeply fortunate to work with such special entrepreneurs. There are many more, but here are some we chose to highlight with this video. Together, we are tokenizing the world's creativity and ideas, and we're turning the internet into a massive IP legoland. 1. Sekai is a narrative legoland meets generative AI meets interactive anime. Kaiser @kaisekai_eth is a former Coinbase Engineer and a serial web3 entrepreneur who was backed b and many other top investors. His app on Story won the Eth Denver Hackathon out of 250 teams. Worth multiple trillions of dollars, IP is bigger than the entire crypto market, but it’s stuck in an antiquated and analog system that makes it extremely opaque and illiquid. Seasoned defi builders since 2017, the founders of IPX is bringing IP assets on-chain to bring liquidity to this previously illiquid asset class. Pre-launch. 3. Magma is a collaborative platform for artists and art teams with 2M active creators. They already have a robust pipeline with users from AAA studios, including Disney. With Story Protocol, creators and collaborators can easily contribute to existing projects, co-create new assets, and remix popular IPs. They can unlock new liquidity pools, license their IP at scale, and explore new revenue models. They can protect their IP through self-enforcing rules, easily track authentication and provenance, and benefit from transparent security. 4. Mahojin is a github for AI model creators and datasets that tracks IP graph and pays model creators dataset owners fairly through Story. The founders Jonghwa and Keehyun are legendary entrepreneurs from Korea. One had a $200M exit to Livingsocial as a co-founder of the Korean e-commerce platform TicketMonster, and the other for $10M to Naver. They previously co-founded together the social platform Vonvon which boasted 2.5B visits per year and 80M users in 15 different regions. 5. Mycelium Network is an on-chaincreator platform that is fully centered around Programmable IP (co-creation, licensing, remixing, royalty, overall IP management). The team are very seasoned builders with over 10 years of IP licensing and production experience. They have worked with 40 brands, including One Piece and Crayon Shinchan. They also have built their own internal franchise called Mindblowon Universe, which has over 5M Instagram followers, 1M Twitter, and 500k on Youtube.
