For this week's #FundraisingFriday, we’re celebrating Chris Scott, who recently took on IronMan Barcelona, and raised £590 for Chance to Shine! 🏊🚴🏃 He completed a remarkable 2.4-mile swim in the Mediterranean, 112-mile bike ride and a full marathon in 11hours 42 minutes. It was his first attempt of an IronMan challenge, and he raised vital funds to help us empower young people through cricket! Inspired by Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams, he chose Chance to Shine after seeing how playing cricket helps young people to build confidence, teamwork, and life skills in schools and communities, especially where opportunities are limited. “I was taken by the way Chance to Shine uses cricket to build people’s confidence and life skills," said Chris.
