3. 80% of all EV charging is done conveniently at home while the owner sleeps.
4. EV owners never need to find or visit a Gas Station and most never need to use a Public EV charger either.
5. NZ has an extensive Public EV Charging Network which spans from Cape Reinga to Bluff
Total public chargers in NZ are around 1,800 with major government investment to more than double this soon (target: 10,000 by 2030).
Public Chargers are; Tesla SuperChargers (150 Chargers), ChargeNet (550 Chargers), BP (150), ZEnergy (200) and 1,000 others at supermarkets, shopping centres, hotels, workplaces, and destination, McDonalds etc etc.
