Underbridge is ok👌 Louvre is unacceptable🤨 They want him to continue to be that “chessinslum guy”. How dare he aim for something way bigger?

That was not what he said, stop pushing agenda as fact. He said he wants to build a billion naira venture to fund chessinslum. We were both on twitter when he started selling chess for 1m and said all the profit will go to the NGO. 1k of the chess is 1bn. Keep pushing the agenda.

They go hand in hand Egbon, this is a dishonest take (no shades) If there’s a movement, won’t there be a question of “a set man”? Aside that, how are you measuring the importance of ChessInSlum? - By Numbers of lives impacted, your view is wrong - By numbers of family gradually being saved from having no future, you’re still wrong. Except if you’re attaching your view of importance to Twitter post impressions…
When the man becomes more visible and more important than the cause he’s championing, you know the priorities are misaligned.

The only thing that matches his thinking is Tunde Onakoya’s Chessinslum project. Blind people should never be isolated in one place just because they are disabled. There are supports in other countries that support blind people to do day-to-day activities and even work.

In Tunde Onakoya words, “It is possible to do great things from a small place.” Greatness doesn’t start with size or resources, it starts in the mind. Wherever you are today, whatever you have now is enough to begin. This week, we do more than you normally do. Happy New Week 🤍 #MondayMotivaton #Monday #tundeonakoya #chessinslum #Refinedmotivation

In any sane country with good leadership, are children underserved? Are children underserved in Japan, Korea or Singapore? Is primary education great and truly and really free in every sane country? Do you know any functional country where privates schools outnumber public schools? The fact that there is “slum” in the name of the Non-Profit he runs is enough evidence that @chessinslums exists as a proof of the failure of government. It is #ChessInSlum not #ChessForChildren. That number of slums exist as a failure of government so his entire cause and course stems from an institutional failure by the @NigeriaGov. Tunde will not understand that the reactions he’s getting perceived as negative is coming from a place of love now, he will later.

You are actually a moron. The girl in the video he commented on is actually an Hausa girl. Yes! Mary is an Hausa girl rescued from an IDP Camp through ChessInSlum just months ago. I hope something happens and you get fixed.

Congratulations to Tunde Onakoya @Tunde_OD on his incredible achievement of setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon! Your determination, resilience, and never-give-up spirit have not only set a new record but also paved the way for millions of underserved African children to access chess education. You are a shining example of what we hope to see from young Nigerians - ambitious, persevering, and making a positive impact. Keep up the amazing work, and may your success inspire others to pursue their dreams and make a meaningful difference in our society with relentless passion and dedication. #ChessChampion #guinessworldrecord #ChessInSlum
