#ChestnutClass used the 2-D shapes and Lego pieces today to count the vertices. M said "Vertices connect two lines on a shape."
E said "A circle only has one side so it doesn't have a vertex."

#ChestnutClass loved creating a volcano in their geography lesson yesterday! We talked about the eruption and how as the magma flows down the sides of the volcano it cools and hardens to create a new layer of rock. #geographers #scientists

#ChestnutClass really enjoyed their science lesson this afternoon! We used the magnets to recap and investigate which materials were magnetic and which were not! The coins surprised us as some of them were and some were not! R said "I thought they would all be magnetic!" π§²

#ChestnutClass loved role playing in RE today. We learned all about how Muslims are welcomed into the Mosque and practiced it for ourselves. Our favourite part was washing our feet. "It made me feel fresh and clean." said one pupil.
