The Republican Party has made no secret of their desire to eliminate #socialSecurity, #Medicare and #Medicaid and the protests #HandsOff2025 you see huge numbers of people protesting this. Including myself. You cannot do this. You cannot steal from the poor and give to the rich. We are the ones who pay the taxes. We are the ones you are working for. I’m talking about the United States Congress, the government and the president. They work for us we don’t work for them and when they start to try to take away our #CivilRights, #freedomofSpeech & #FreedomOfPeacefulAssembly and right to #DueProcess then this is an oligarchy not a democracy. The people will not stand for that. This is why they are angry. I know that a person who has grown up wealthy and not ever having to worry about money their whole lives would not understand this concept, but if they are the ones doing the cutting, this is what they need to understand. United States citizens will not stand for it, and this is why these were real people who came out in mass members yesterday to protest. The #tariffs were the last straw of an already volatile situation, which has made every single US citizen, angry, and upset, unless they are wealthy, and these people are also getting hit not the really rich oligarch’s, but the 401(k)s which some of us don’t even have. #Trump doesn’t seem to really care about this because this is he probably knows his last term and he’s playing with fire right now because a lot of those people out there were not only #Democrats but #Republicans, #MAGA #libertarian, and everything in between. A large majority of them voted for him. People are angry. These people were not paid for these people are real United States. Citizens who are very angry as well as people across the country who are angry. We did not come to this country our ancestors fleeing from a King, fighting for our freedom, this Government, for our #Constitution, for our #BillofRights just to see it shredded and another non appointed #King and Court of #Jesters attempt to shred apart our country and our rights, to shred everything this county was built upon, all we stand for, and veterans have fought & died for… to LOSE OUR #CIVILRIGHTS AND OUR #SOCIALSECURITY, #Medicaire, #Medicaid, #Disability & #Education #ChildrensPrograms, #Vets, #Healthinsurance many people are one paycheck or one Social Security check or one one week one day away from being homeless. I know this is a concept that many in this administration such as #howardlutnick do not seem to understand or comprehend. This is why the United States citizens are speaking out so that you will understand because the US Citizens will not allow this. It just won’t go. You can’t just strip away and fire a bunch of people and take a chainsaw to a bunch of programs without having a plan in place and the same thing goes for these #tariffs. These tarrifs will hit the poorest and the middle class the hardest. You’re aware of that. None of this will go well and it’s not going to happen when the United States citizens have a say and they have spoken loud and clear. #HandsOff2025
