The 79th World Health Assembly is currently underway in Geneva, and we thank our allies #Palau🇵🇼and #Paraguay 🇵🇾 for their words of support for Taiwan in the two-on-two debate during the WHA plenary session, pointing to the expertise and experience we wish to share with the world and the assembly's principle of leaving no one behind!

🌍 The WHA was founded on a noble principle: health is a fundamental human right for ALL people, without distinction of political belief. Leaving Taiwan’s 23.5 million people out creates a dangerous blind spot in global health security.
Taiwan last participated in 2016. Due to pressure from China, Taiwan has now been excluded for a decade.
In spite of facing unjust treatment, Taiwan continues to actively contribute to global health:
• 🏥 Building national medical info systems in Paraguay
• 📸 Digitizing medical imaging in Belize
• 👶 Improving maternal & infant care in Eswatini
To truly realize the WHO vision of "Health for All," the world must support Taiwan's participation.
