Duality and Ciphermode are working on it (maybe others?). This will take time, to find repeatable use cases. But without trying you won’t find. I am very optimistic. The more people in industry learn about it, the more use cases will come up.

it's not actually that complicated or interesting, modulo endpoint security it's basically just down to the cipher mode how the ciphermode is used the strength of the KDF the password used (assuming password-based kdf)
