We should get more detail on the so called ‘cladding tax.’ A £2bn levy on developers of high rises to pay for the removal of dangerous cladding. The Residential Property Developer Tax, first announced in Feb, set to be imposed on homebuilders that make profits of £25m per year.

Chair Martin Moore-Bick asks about the 18m height threshold. Colin Todd calls the line "an arbitrary limit based on historical considerations". Also says the "practical effect" of govt guidance was that designers would not be concerned about fire performance below this height...

Last year my service charge was £199, now it’s £720 per month. This doesn’t even cover remediation yet.
