Clean-Up Drive at Hirakud Dam! A clean-up drive was organised at zero point, Hirakud Dam- the world’s longest man-made earthen dam and a major tourist attraction as a part of #WorldEnvironmentDay2026. Shri Uday Anant Kaole, CMD, MCL, flagged off the drive in the presence of Shri Keshav Rao, Director (HR), Shri A.K. Behura, Director (Finance). Around 150 employees along with senior executives participated in the initiative, highlighting the need to preserve our surroundings. This marks the fourth consecutive year of this meaningful initiative by MCL. The waste collected, including plastic and other discarded materials, was handed over to the municipal solid waste management facility at Burla for proper disposal.
