We also call for a shift in climate language—towards more accurate and positive terminology.
Example: instead of “emissions,” consider “restoration of CO₂ to the air.”

The climate conversation online is changing. Across platforms, more Africans are speaking openly about climate justice, climate finance reform and the need for locally driven adaptation. There is frustration with slow global commitments but also a growing push for African solutions, better governance and stronger accountability here at home.
This kind of public pressure matters. Public pressure shapes policy. Policy shapes investment. Investment shapes resilience.
The more we speak, the harder it becomes for any leader to ignore realities on the ground.

UK communist government funding Extinction Rebellion with taxpayer money to propagandize public:
"A Labour-run council has been criticised for funding an Extinction Rebellion “climate cafe” using taxpayers’ money. Bolton council gave the local XR group a £1,134 grant in July for a monthly climatediscussion meeting. The 'climate cafe' is advertised as a 'relaxed and informal' and a place for a 'chat about all matters climate-related'. Conservative councillors criticised the Labour administration for handing taxpayers’ money to the activists."

From one of my favourite books: 'Inconvenient Facts: The Science That Al Gore Doesn't Want You to Know', Gregory Wrightstone, 2017.
A graph showing CO2 back to 140m years ago. Plant life ceases at 150ppm. The extrapolation without the small upturn in the present means that we just survived, by the skin of our teeth. We're at about 440 ppm now - 150 is still a bit close for me.
Just think how green the earth would become at 1000ppm. If you're worried about climate change I suggest you turn off the television and read this book instead. We will need all the CO2 we can get in the coming years if this trend continues.
