At #ClimateWeek3 in #Yeosu, government representatives and partners came together for a peer exchange workshop to share experiences on NDC implementation. Participants from 🇲🇳 Mongolia, 🇧🇩 Bangladesh, 🇦🇺 Australia, 🇵🇭 Philippines, 🇻🇳 Vietnam, 🇰🇭 Cambodia, 🇬🇪 Georgia and 🇲🇭 the Marshall Islands highlighted approaches to advance implementation: ✅ Strengthening whole-of-government coordination through interministerial platforms ✅ Aligning sectoral plans, national budgets and investment strategies with NDC targets ✅ Developing pipelines of bankable projects to finance climate priorities ✅ Embedding inclusive processes, engaging youth, civil society, Indigenous Peoples and local communities across NDC cycles Building on the NDC 3.0 Fora and NDC Clinics, and organized by @UNFCCC and its RCCs, @UNEP, @UNDP, the NDC Partnership Support Unit and @giz_gmbh, the exchange enabled peer learning to strengthen NDC implementation. #ClimateAction #NDCs

We were proud to participate in critical dialogues at @UNFCCC #ClimateWeek3 in Korea, amplifying our islands' voices on issues that matter most to our vulnerable regions. Key topics included the Mitigation Work Programme, Adaptation, and Just Transition. #ClimateJustice

I was glad to be part of #ClimateWeek3, organized by UN Climate Change and hosted in Yeosu, Republic of Korea. It was a great opportunity to engage in discussions on climate finance, loss and damage, adaptation, and the importance of local and Indigenous knowledge. I shared my experiences from #Afghanistan and #Canada and learned from the insightful perspectives of others. Thanks to the Balsillie School of International Affairs, for supporting my participation.

🌏 #ClimateWeek3 is underway in Yeosu, South Korea 🇰🇷 This week is an opportunity to elevate real-world solutions — and the human and economic benefits of climate action — while strengthening peer learning across countries. At the Peer Exchange Workshops on NDC implementation, organized by GIZ, @iki_germany, the NDC Partnership Support Unit, @UNDP, @UNEP and @UNFCCC, countries are sharing lessons from the transition from NDC development to implementation across four key levers: policy, finance, solutions and engagement. On the margins, NDC Partnership in-country facilitators from across Asia-Pacific are strengthening their capacity for effective coordination and resource mobilization in line with country priorities.

Climate change knows no borders, but its impacts hit the most vulnerable hardest. As global stakeholders countdown to @UNFCCC’s #ClimateWeek3, AKADEMIYA2063 continues to emphasize the importance of turning commitments into action.
