Whilst in #Rome 🇮🇹 as Secretary General of Women Political Leaders #WPL, I joined discussions of the @UN Food Standards and Safety Body, the @FAO/@WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission, where I led calls for stronger food safety governance and Codex-aligned legislation. I highlighted the pivotal role of women political leaders in advancing food safety for both domestic and international markets; an agenda I began advancing prior to Parliament, strengthened whilst in Parliament, and now lead globally across countries through #WPL under our new Pillar on Food, Land, Water and Climate. #CodexCAC48 @FAOWHOCodex
