ALT The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) Coding Club "Kodekar," under the Department Skill Development Cell, is organizing a 5-day bootcamp on LeetCode starting from June 10, 2024.
The bootcamp is being conducted in parallel across three batches. Seven first-year students—Chaitika, Upasana, Prashu, Abhishek, Vishal, Anuj, and Avi—served as resource persons, and 100 students have registered and are participating. Our faculty members, along with the head of the department, were also present to encourage the students. As the saying goes, a good start is half the battle won, so here are some glimpses from the first day.

ALT Competitive programming is a brain game and programmers must code according to the given constraints. To develop a competitive coding culture among students, the Department of Computer Applications organized a half-day coding event exclusively for MCA I year students. The event was organized by Team KodeKar (Departmental Coding Club) on 24 December 2022, @HackerRank Platform.
A total of 65 students enthusiastically participated. The objective was to motivate the students for competitive coding on online available platforms.

Check out @Coding_Club blog that makes the case for improving tools for our students and taking another look at the programming environments we ask our students to use computingatschool.org.uk/new…
We used to do it at gcse using Greenfoot and the students got it really well, but then the network wouldn't run it properly so we had to stop. It's now just taught at the A-level #shameReally#CASchat
A3 Our KS3 do python, then Java in KS4 and KS5. We started with the @Coding_Club resources and it has developed over time. Sequence first, then selection followed by iteration #CASchat
Well done everyone for tweeting about how much you've enjoyed the Bebras competition this year! Any more reports? The photos are wonderful! @CompAtSch@Coding_Club#bebras
