I don't think so... that's what people said about CommandPost a decade ago.

Keyframe Toolbox v1.0.0 is now available for USD$19.99 on the Mac App Store, finally bringing advanced keyframe animation to Final Cut Pro! 🄳 Whilst Final Cut Pro has some basic keyframe controls for Opacity, Position, Scale, Rotation, it includes only limited control over how keyframes transition into one another. In many contexts, only linear keyframes can be created, leading to clunky animations. Though the classic Final Cut Pro included basic keyframe graphs, no version of the modern Final Cut Pro has ever offered a complete set of integrated keyframe controls. It's time. Built directly into the Final Cut Pro Inspector, Keyframe Toolbox gives you complete control of your keyframes so you can really refine your movements, rotations, scales, fades and virtual focus pulls. This is a power-user’s tool to help editors and animators create complex, precise animations on the Final Cut Pro timeline. Keyframe Toolbox takes all the very best keyframe controls from Apple Motion (color, repeating animation patterns), Adobe After Effects (scalable keyframe groups), Blender (precise value editing) and more. We've made our graphs as easy to edit as curves in Adobe Illustrator, and included flexible oscillations and other common patterns to make it easy to create and then tweak many kinds of animations. Keyframe Toolbox is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it also "unlocks" CommandPost! You can download it here: apps.apple.com/app/keyframe-… You can learn more on the website: keyframetoolbox.fcp.cafe/ Thanks team!

This looks fun! @LLo_ai is an absolute legend - insanely talented, insanely smart, always helpful and always lovely. I asked lots of dumb questions when I was first building CommandPost, and he always helped me out. BetterTouchTool is INCREDIBLE, and keeps getting better! 🄳
nobody's talking about BetterTouchTool, but they just jumped into the AI agent game with this new "ask AI" feature that builds macOS automations for you. you can even plug in codex / claude code / opencode etc, which is lowkey insane for a first beta. if you're an automation nerd who lives on your mac, this unlocks a ton of workflows. don't let the UI throw you off, yeah it's a little rough around the edges, but don't sleep on it. personally i've built 100 workflows over the years using BTT. at this point i use macOS almost entirely on keyboard and in a fully AI native way, all made possible by the little patch-like workflows he's created. it's genuinely changed how i use my computer. the dev behind BTT (@LLo_ai) is straight up one of the most talented macOS engineers i've ever come across (big shoutout to @stephancasas too). dude's been putting in serious work for 10 years with no VC money, no big backing, just him quietly building one of the most underrated hidden gems in the entire macOS automation ecosystem. built and maintained largely on his own. that's rare. that's real. honestly the potential here is massive. this is exactly the kind of thing VCs should have on their radar. he could genuinely fix a lot of what's broken in the macOS AI ecosystem (no thanks to apple for years of shipping mid). if he goes all in on this, the upside is basically unlimited. would love to see @OpenAI scoop this up and plug it into the @OpenAIDevs ecosystem. it could be something really special. cc: @sama and yeah, ideally @apple would be the perfect acquirer here, this could make millions of mac users' lives genuinely better. but let's be real, apple is too big to notice the things quietly doing the most important work. unfortunately that's just how it goes. whoever picks this up is getting a serious deal. big props to @LLo_ai, hope this is finally the moment he gets the success he's always deserved. rooting for you till the end. šŸ™

I helped build the Final Cut Pro integration - it uses my CommandPost under the hood. You can read my backstory here: fcp.cafe/news/20241106/ Jumper's just another tool in your toolbox. It's designed for EDITORS - not replacing editors.

I mean, I didn't want to abuse you for not including CommandPost on the website, but that is clearly the best icon you've ever done, haha.

This is exactly why CommandPost v2 now requires at least ONE paid LateNite app from the Mac App Store installed. It still remains open-source, but we need the extra cash to buy the hardware that we support in CommandPost.
After 11 years, Scrapoxy is shutting down for good. 1,742 users. 19M IPs. 115B requests. 12 PB of data. 387K lines of code. One maintainer. One credit card paying for everything. Not sustainable. Not bitter. Just honest. Full story and FAQ at scrapoxy.io

this is a bit strange.. I looked through the apps, and I can't see anything that I need. For using only one feature of commandpost - batch export, I need to buy some other app that I will never use?

CommandPost is an amazing toolkit that adds power features to Final Cut Pro (both ā€˜one-time-purchase’ and Apple Creator Studio rental versions). Chris and an active community are constantly adding useful tools for the best editors in the world in CommandPost and other apps.
CommandPost v2.0.0 is out now! This update adds support for Final Cut Pro Creator Studio (subscription). We're also trying something totally new and crazy... In order to use CommandPost, you need to have at least ONE of our paid apps installed. commandpost.fcp.cafe #fcpx

FBI Now Involved: New Information in the Search for Missing 14-Year-Old Gideon Andrew Ferguson Firewire spoke directly with Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell regarding new developments in the search for missing 14-year-old Gideon Andrew Ferguson. Sheriff Campbell confirmed that new evidence has emerged, prompting a higher level of scrutiny of Ferguson’s gaming consoles and social media activity. Sheriff Campbell stated that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has offered assistance, which Campbell says he accepted, specifically for digital forensics support. ā€œThe FBI has the capability to fast-track digital evidence from applications, gaming consoles, and online platforms—particularly games commonly used by children, such as Fortnite and Roblox,ā€ Campbell said. According to Sheriff Campbell, Ferguson has left little to no physical evidence to aid investigators. The FBI’s ability to expedite access to digital systems, including retrieving deleted messages and password-protected communications, is expected to be extremely valuable to the investigation. Sheriff Campbell also noted that ground search efforts are ongoing, with crews continuing to search wooded areas. However, evidence is increasingly suggesting that Ferguson may not be in the woods. In an earlier conversation, Sheriff Campbell stated that between 50 and 100 personnel were actively searching and that, in his opinion, if Ferguson were in the woods, he likely would have been located by now. Despite this belief, Campbell emphasized that no stone will be left unturned, and ground crews will remain in place as a precaution. Search teams will continue working into the evening until conditions become too cold and will resume again early tomorrow morning. While the investigation appears to be shifting toward a stronger focus on online activity—and the possibility that Ferguson may have left willingly or was contacted by someone online—Sheriff Campbell was cautious not to draw conclusions at this time. However, with the FBI’s digital forensics team now involved, the direction of the investigation is clearly expanding into that area. Sheriff Campbell emphasized that an Amber Alert has not been issued because state law requires confirmation of an abduction or kidnapping. At this time, he stated, the criteria necessary to activate an Amber Alert have not been met. Continue to follow Firewire for the most accurate and up-to-date information on this case. In matters involving missing persons, Firewire releases information only when it is confirmed directly by law enforcement. @IredellSheriff @FBI #FBI #FBIinvestigation #iredellsheriff #MissingChild #missing #MissingJuvenile #Missingperson #IredellCounty #FlockCameras #investigation #investigate #lawenforcement #deputysheriff #sheriff #sheriffsoffice #northcarolina #piedmont #NCViper #MotorolaSolutions #commandpost #MobileCommand
