Around 1956, d #DigitalComputer 1st appeared in our country; a decade after its introduction in d US; with d installation of a computer "HEC-2M" at d Indian-Statistical-Institute in Kolkata. And in 1961, d 1st #CommercialComputer was installed at d ESSO-Head-Office in Mumbai...🙂
