To many, digital inclusion means connectivity. However, our #BOLT (Building Opportunities Leveraging Technology) project defines connectivity as the ability of everyone to meaningfully participate in digital access and usage. Last week, communities in Oyam district participated in a gender training aimed at addressing harmful gender stereotypes, the realities of digital gender gaps and practical strategies for promoting equitable access and usage of technology. The training laid an important foundation for meaningful participation in the digital space and the successful implementation of the Rural Broadband Model and digital empowerment centers that will be deployed. #DigitalInclusion #BOLTProject #CommunityNetworks #ConnectingTheUnconnected
