Rotational Atherectomy – Practical Pearls Presented by Dr. Yousif Ahmad at #CompCourse2025 @crfheart : • Use floppy Rota wire • Wire with workhorse microcatheter, then exchange • Give distal vasodilators before burr • 1.5 mm burr in ~90% of cases • Short runs: 10–15 sec at 180K rpm (can go up to 220K) • Avoid temp pacer in most RCA/LCx cases
