This is just scummy.. My friend Jim Harden’s CompassCare center in Buffalo was firebombed. Not vandalized. Not spray-painted. Firebombed. Someone made a deliberate decision to attack a Christian, pro-life medical ministry because they hated what it stood for. The goal was simple: intimidate, silence, and terrorize people who dared to disagree. Years later, Buffalo still has no public accountability. Why? Think about that. A building was attacked for political reasons. Families were threatened. Staff were targeted. An entire ministry was put in the crosshairs. Yet somehow the outrage that normally pours from politicians, media outlets, and activists was nowhere to be found. If you believe political intimidation is wrong, then it is wrong when the target is a Christian ministry. If you believe domestic terrorism is wrong, then it is wrong when the victim is pro-life. If you believe justice matters, then justice should not depend on whose ox is being gored. I know Jim. I know the work CompassCare does. They serve women, children, and families every day. They rebuilt after the attack because that’s what faithful people do. The people responsible for this attack may think time erases what happened. It doesn’t. Buffalo remembers. We remember.
