A Question of Faith and Compassion 🙏🌱
What irony is this, that the creator of life would want the sacrifice of the very beings they created.
Does harming innocent beings really make the divine happy?
Many spiritual traditions actually speak about kindness and non-violence toward all living beings:
• “Ahimsa Paramo Dharma” - Non-violence is the highest duty. (Hindu philosophy)
• “Blessed are the merciful.” - Bible (Matthew 5:7)
• “Whoever is kind to the creatures of God is kind to himself.” - Teaching attributed to Muhammad in the Hadith
• “All beings tremble before violence… one should not kill or cause others to kill.” - Dhammapada
• “Dayā (compassion) for all beings.” - Teachings of Guru Nanak in the Guru Granth Sahib
Across religions, the deeper message is compassion, mercy, and respect for life.
Maybe true devotion is not about sacrifice,
but about protecting the lives that share this world with us. 🤍
