"Polygon is back" I keep hearing this. here's my take having been at Polygon for 3 years: → the products: the focus is finally sharp: make Polygon PoS the go-to chain for payments and RWAs. Connect all web3 through Agglayer. A year ago, we were spread thin across too many verticals and side projects. Now? those distractions have been spun off, killed or pivoted. no more scattered side quests. → the shipping: Polygon PoS roadmap is aggressive, and just shipped 1,000tps with 5,000 by EOY and 100,000 in 2026. Agglayer just shipped v0.3. Katana testnet → mainnet in a month. we're dialed in. no delays, just execution. → the social energy: polygon socials have found their groove. You'll notice more Polygon employees active on X, that's not a coincidence. there's a real movement internally to grow our own brands (and be rewarded for it). the voice feels aligned again → the people: the org used to be super bloated (like 400 people). there were a lot of web2 folks brought in that, quite frankly, brought more harm than help. Now we're around 200 ppl. Smaller teams, stronger culture. The people here now are sharp, strategic thinkers who also know how to execute. only A team members. And there’s genuine excitement again. Feels like a startup again. → the ambitions: @sandeepnailwal has an always will be an OG founder. I've seen his excitement and eagerness grow tenfold these past 6 months. And taking on the position of CEO of Polygon Foundation will have positive effects across the org. This paired with the ambition (and competitiveness) of other leadership (cough cough @0xMarcB @Mudit__Gupta @leonstern @web3RyanN more) is making for a really killer L-team. 2023 polygon felt lost and was out of sync. 2024 was a rebuilding year. 2025 = polygon is so back.
