Meandering thought.
Twitter introduces normally smart people to the left hand side of the bell curve with which they almost never interact.
Sure, it may introduce a person to someone they don’t know who is at the far right end of the curve as well. But that is not as jarring. Not even close.
I am talking about the people that can barely read, can’t do basic math, have no ambition, generally make terrible decisions, and accomplish nothing.
They are loud on the Twitters and, I think, far more alien to normies, than is a genius.
But they have always been there.
