I think it goes back to how we coped in GWOT. Year long deployments, sometimes back-to-back. No decompression time. ROE’s that made no sense determined by politicians, not strategists intent on winning. Can’t smoke anymore, can’t dip anymore. The non-alcoholic beer in the DFAC was just mocking us. Coffee was one little thing we could control. We could get all kinds of custom beans through the mail, grind it just right, brew it in the manner WE preferred (drip, pod, French press or pour over) and have it at the exact strength we desired.
Why do so many Veterans start coffee companies? Am I missing out on an opportunity here?
