A group of participants in the 11th edition of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) visited a range of Dubai’s iconic landmarks, flagship projects and distinguished initiatives, encompassing both newly launched developments and long-established destinations. The programme included visits to the Dubai Intelligent Traffic Systems Centre, the Autonomous Abra, Autonomous Vehicles, The View at Palm Jumeirah, Deep Dive Dubai, and Dubai Frame. #RTA, represented by the forum organisers and in coordination with the relevant authorities, provided detailed explanations about the nature of the projects that were visited and the services they provide, in addition to reviewing the lessons learned and best practices in planning and implementation, and the pivotal role of project management in driving innovation in infrastructure and smart city projects, which contributes to enhancing Dubai’s position as a leading city to live and work globally. On day 2 of Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF), organised annually by #RTA, H.E Sana Bint Mohammed Suhail gave a keynote address, highlighting the importance of designing projects around people and families, emphasising that projects are not merely infrastructure and timelines, but rather tools for strengthening family cohesion and fostering sustainable community development. The Forum featured panel discussions titled “AI for Humanity – Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Social Impact”, “Aviation Horizons: Bridging Communities and Empowering Collaboration”, and “From the Heart of Dubai: Empowering Lives Through Humanitarian Efforts”. Participants further discussed the importance of continuously fostering innovation and maintaining a constant drive to achieve more, and that managing a business is much like running a circus, as it is built on core elements including team chemistry, creativity and customer experience. In addition, the Forum discussed how Dubai is a city that does not wait for opportunities but creates them, at a session featuring H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi and Muhammad BinGhatti. His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between RTA and ENOC Group, under which the Group becomes a strategic partner in the organisation of the 11th and 12th editions of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF). The Forum is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
