Sometimes KJV reads better poetically it’s not a bad translation. I love the DRB and primarily read it but don’t hate the KJV simply because KJV only is obviously stupid

Are you talking about the original Douay-Rheims (DRB) or the Challoner revision (DRC)? The DRB is so heavily Latinate that it can be difficult to read in places, and the DRC is so close to the KJV that it could almost be called the KJV-CE.

The only reason you think DRB is better is because you have a Vatican flag emoji name. Which is fine, that's a perfectly valid reason, but don't pretend like the KJV is uniquely in error. Every single verse in Jerome's Vulgate can be found in the King James Version. The same cannot be said of modern Catholic translations

The only good English translation that uses archaic language is Douay–Rheims. DRB was published first, approved by The Church, and is a better translation. Can KJV only end? There are so many other English transitions better than it.
