Shame no Imperial in Daggerfall...you think the IMPERIAL agent would be an IMPERIAL...

Because no matter what...you're gonna play a variant of Elf anyways...yes, even in Daggerfall.
How is The Elder Scrolls the only fantasy game to do diversity and not piss people off?

Aight so. Slowly continuing my Avowed journey. Just got to this tavern in Paradis. Bruv. I half expected the Daggerfall tavern music to start playing lol

Open world has nothing to do with loading times, loading screens or transitions between inside and outside, especially dungeons. Open world means you can go anywhere and do anything in any order, which in OOT you couldn't, but in Daggerfall you could, released 2 years prior!

25 hours into Morrowind and the biggest thing it has going for it is that its not Daggerfall

It is fortunate for our peoples — indeed, for all the peoples of Tamriel — that the true flame of the Empire of Man still burns in the Daggerfall Covenant. These are terrible times, but our destiny lies before us as straight and true as the 1/2

PC RPGS were years ahead of this open world curve, Shenmue devs state the ultima franchise were a massive inspiration for their design & daggerfall had an incredibly detailed and intricate logic behind many of its world systems. Why do people ignore these facts?

10 = Arena 15 = Daggerfall 30 = Morrowind 60 = Oblivion 150 = Skyrim

Technically the first game is The Elder Scrolls: Arena, and the second is TES: Daggerfall, so those 2 fail, 3: Morrowind, 4: Oblivion & 5: Skyrim all work though.

skyrim's nice but i wish its magic wasn't dogshit compared to any other elder scrolls game and it had much more in depth character creation on levels of arena or daggerfall

someone should make Daggerfall Unity into a playable ringworld RPG

I'm a cynic at this point sadly, I just don't think the drive and love for those games is there anymore. I pray they prove me wrong and am honestly rooting for them. I would love for an Elder Scrolls that make me feel like I did in Daggerfall, Morrowind, or heck even Oblivion again.

The gap between Daggerfall and Skyrim is the same as Skyrim to now... We could've had 3 TES games in the time its taken for TES6 to release

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - May 1, 2002 (6 years after TES II) The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - March 20, 2006 (4 years after TES III) The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - November 11, 2011 (5 years after TES IV) The Elder Scrolls VI (14 years and counting) At this rate, TES VI might actually be one of the longest waits for a sequel in gaming that we'll see by the time it comes out.
