The Eastern Region Workshop on Data-Led Auditing concluded successfully at RCBKI Kolkata! Workshop on Data-Led Inspection & Audit Initiatives and Priorities for the Annual Audit Plan 2026–27, held on 22–23 December 2025. During the workshop, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India commended the presenters for clearly articulating the significance of data-led audit initiatives. He also appreciated the role of the Nodal PAGs in designing and conducting the workshop, and their commitment to supporting teams in the effective implementation of the strategy. Key Presentations: Establishment Audit Shri Kushal Karthik S, Sr. DAG and Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj, DAG Presentation highlighted how data, technology and analytics enable focused inspections, reduced mandays, and wider audit coverage. #DigitalAudit #GoodGovernance Social Sector Scheme Audit Shri Nitin Gangadhar Puke, Sr. DAG and Shri Bappaditya Majumdar, DAG Presentation focused on the shift to data-led remote compliance audits, enabling 100% transaction coverage through AI/OCR for greater impact and timely reporting. #DataLedAudit #CAGIndia Works Audit Ms. Priyati Kawdo, Sr. DAG and Shri Akash Chaudhary, DAG Presentation showcased AI-enabled OCR transformation of unstructured data into analytics, uncovering revenue leakage, tender norm violations, and contractor cartel risks—paving the way for scalable data-led hybrid audits.
