DTCC is collaborating with Chainlink to advance its Collateral AppChain, a shared infrastructure platform for collateral management. DTCC is one of the most important post-trade infrastructure providers in global finance, supporting clearing, settlement, asset servicing, transaction processing, trade reporting and data services. In 2025, DTCC subsidiaries processed $4.7 quadrillion in securities transactions, while its depository subsidiary provided custody and asset servicing for $114 trillion in securities issues from more than 150 countries and territories. The Collateral AppChain will use Chainlink Runtime Environment and the Chainlink data standard for orchestration, data and automation capabilities. The goal is to connect asset prices, valuations and collateral movement in a unified onchain environment for 24/7, near-real-time collateral workflows across global markets and blockchains. The platform was publicly unveiled during DTCC’s Great Collateral Experiment and is expected to go live in Q4 2026. تخيّل معي كم بيانات تمر علينا في حياتنا، خصوصًا في #العقار أو في الشارع، وتضيع… بس لأنها ما تنرصد. ولأنها لا ترصد، يظل فهمنا للواقع ناقص. وحتى لو استخدمنا البيانات اللي عندنا، غالبًا نطلع بنتيجة محدودة. السبب إن اللي رصد البيانات وقت بناء النظام كان فهمه للواقع صحيح في وقته، فصمّم النظام بناءً عليه. لكن الواقع يتغيّر، وفهمنا له يتطوّر، ومع تسارع الأحداث وتداخلها نحتاج معلومات وبيانات جديدة باستمرار. وهذا يرفع الحاجة لبيانات ذات جودة أعلى . المفروض إن البيانات والأنظمة تكون متجددة، لكن اللي يصير فعليًا عكس كذا. النظام يوقف عند نقطة زمنية معيّنة، ويصير جامد. وقتها نفشل نفهم واقعنا من خلال البيانات… لأن البيانات ببساطة ما عاد ترصد اللي قاعد يصير. كثير من اللي يصمّمون أنظمة بيانات اليوم يحسبون أنهم جمعوا كل شيء مهم، وهم فعلًا جمعوا اللي يشوفونه مهم من زاويتهم هم، وفي زمن معيّن. عشان كذا تلقى بعض علماء البيانات يرفضون فكرة single source of truth. السبب بسيط: جودة البيانات مو شيء واحد وثابت. اللي يعتبره شخص “حقيقة” مو بالضرورة هو نفس الشيء اللي يهم المستثمر، أو المطوّر، أو متخذ القرار. المشكلة مو في البيانات نفسها، المشكلة إننا نحتاج معلومات أكثر، وهالمعلومات تتغيّر مع الوقت. وربطها ببعض يحتاج معيار واضح: إيش نرصد؟ وليش؟ ولمين؟ إلى الآن، هالمعيار غير موجود.. #العقار #عقار #بيانات #DataStandard #datafication
