Here are some photos from what I am doing. This piece of brass is measuring 1.762" long, max length for .223 brass is 1.760" long. I trim it with a carbide cutting head, which leaves it rough. The second picture shows the case immediately after the cut, and then again after a chamfer and deburring cut. After the trim, you can see the final length is 1.748" long. The last step is chamferring the primer pocket to remove the primer crimp. These are ready to load now.

The people going on about the gloves haven't had the delightful experience of grabbing a sheetmetal panel only to discover that the deburring guy took that day off.
