BOVINE TB DATA RELEASED TODAY bTB data for GB was released today by @DefraStats. Annual TB figures for England are now lower than those in Wales in terms of all 3 measures - herd prevalence, herd incidence and animals slaughtered. Levels in England continued to reduce in 2023.

Useful and interesting data.. But why dont @DefraStats collect detailed data like this (& farm business income) for food industry beyond the farmgate? Maybe left to DBT? But such transparency on one player costs/income favours the others in price negotiations..no? @foodresearchuk
🧵New #Defra stats release on #Farming Household Income (21/22) today. (This is different to farm business income and takes into account income earned off farm). Interesting results: average Farm Household Income in England was £17.8k, down from £20k in 2014/15;

Like you & the authorities. You begin with an unfounded conclusion (jabs are the only way out of the pandemic etc.) then cherry-pick papers & cultivate narratives around these assertions; rather than 'follow the evidence wherever it leads'. Activism is the opposite of thinking.
