BOVINE TB DATA RELEASED TODAY
bTB data for GB was released today by @DefraStats. Annual TB figures for England are now lower than those in Wales in terms of all 3 measures - herd prevalence, herd incidence and animals slaughtered. Levels in England continued to reduce in 2023.
FORTHCOMING BTB RELEASE
bTB statistics will be released by @DefraStats on Wednesday. These will extend up to the end of 2023. Here are stats up to Sep 2023 in Eng & annual stats up to 2022 for England & Wales. I wonder how these comparisons between E & W will look on Wednesday.

Useful and interesting data.. But why dont @DefraStats collect detailed data like this (& farm business income) for food industry beyond the farmgate? Maybe left to DBT? But such transparency on one player costs/income favours the others in price negotiations..no? @foodresearchuk
