Today marks the closing of the Design Ireland pop-up shop in Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport, after over four incredible years of showcasing Ireland's vibrant design and craft talent to traveling consumers from all over the world! A huge thank you to all the amazing designers and craftspeople who brought their creativity and passion to life in the shops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and to Aer Rianta International (ARI) for providing the platform. While the shops have closed as part of @ARIRetail’s refurbishment plans, our journey doesn't end here. Design & Crafts Council Ireland, and our new Head of Commercial, Emma Dowling, is committed to exploring new ventures for Design Ireland to continue the promotion of Irish design.
