It is important to be attentive, to notice when we start searching for happiness where it does not exist.
Being honest with oneself means recognizing one’s true desires and distinguishing them from external influences.

“What am I choosing right now - peace, harmony, inner integrity, or illusory success, the desire for external approval and recognition?”
Think about what will remain when all external achievements disappear.
