@AzureSupport Are there any issues currently with DevTestLabs/Vms - it seems that provisioning/starting/stopping them takes forever (eg. it took an hour to remove, now it takes 30 minutes to stop)

Of course, but with this option we wouldn't have been able to prepare this awesome session, nor would we have learned all this about DevTestLabs, nor have all the fun we had... 🤣🤣. We said it in the session, it is just a PoC to give people some ideas and try new things.

#Azure DevTestLabs (DTL) now supports deploying with a User Asssigned Managed Service Identity (MSI) . . which is really useful for accessing keyvault or resources outside of the local DTL resource group.

A lot of customers I’ve seen stuck in overly restrictive environments do this (e.g. can’t run Visual Studio as admin). Windows Virtual Desktop or Azure DevTestLabs are options too.
You can’t have security without convenience. People will find ways around it.
