Speaking at the Bentley Innovation Day, BWSSB Chairman
@PrasathIas announced a massive "Digital Shift" to build the "Utility of the future in the future city of the world."
For decades, the board's legacy systems have worked 24/7 to bring water from the Cauvery River (~100 km away) across 3 major treatment stations and 34 STPs. Now, to ensure sustainability for the next 20-30 years, BWSSB is moving from simply "monitoring" to actively "Governing" the city's vital resources through a strong digital foundation.

๐น ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฝ ๐๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: BWSSB is opening its doors as a powerful "test bed" for startups working on wastewater and energy tech.
As the utility moves with the fast pace of technology, it aims to remain "responsible first," striking the perfect balance between strong Human Capital and a robust Digital backbone.
