Cheers, haha "keeping the illusion alive" I love it. You like lengthy responses? Ok then :) I also love a good fiction, and there are still more than enough anomalies we can experience in life that let us question reality on these many levels without being able to measure or make devices that can measure or translate things of the mind. I enjoyed The Matrix on many levels. I've explored this VR one too, and I come up with a similar construct as I do when considering the origins of modern man and the various theories from official Darwinian evolution but also the possibilities of past interventions from ancient ancestors, gods or whatever lore is engaged in the story. If we look to one possible future, it involves leaving the planet and solar system to terraform a new one. The origin of species in that scenario might be presented in the geological evidence with a similar sequence that we observe on this planet, just to terraform it into a chemically habitable home for us fragile carbon-based humanlike critter contraptions. The space journey across the cold dark vacuum of space would be cruel to expect any descendant born up their will spend their life in a sardine tin and for the thousands of generations before getting to the next habitable star system. I imagine this is where a VR plug in would be extra handy and this is about the only environment that I can imagine where audio-visual signals might bleed into the consciousness of the participant. A glitch in the system that presents as De Ja Vu, premonition dreams or those extreme coincidences that scream so low in probability models that something fishy is going on like a VR glitch or helping hand. Like God or a system Ai I guess. Cool stuff that keeps the imagination questioning reality. I imagine Einstein's "God doesn't play dice" was his way of trying to digest probability distributions of electron clouds and couldn't see how probability could predict future locations unless there was some kind of spooky action at a distance to limit the probability. It's all fun stuff at this level. Similar mind-bending questioning of if we are living in a VR, which is different from the existence of real dimensions outside the XYZ.. Even time considered as a 4th dimension is a bit of a cheat. Cool but.. a cheat. However, while we're in this simple XYZ universe, the mysteries of physics that you seem to be aware of is intended to be mystifying. If you ever had the time to look back through the history of science and how and why it came to be institutionalised as a trusted source of information, you may appreciate that the romantic notions of knowledge seeking for the sake of knowledge is not and has never been without a proft or leverage motive. Sometimes science deliberately gets it wrong to see who is awake. Sometimes it's to hide the sharp scissors away from us children and sometimes it's just to reinforce either some political, religious or economically motivated ideology. Some good some bad like the Big Bang is harmless enough since it is just the Biblical Creation theory cobbled together with some physics and chemistry language that 99% of the population will never bother to learn the language of to understand the actual science of it. So most atheists will accept it just as blindly as a religious person accepts God without understanding the text. That's how it works, it's how it has always worked until you get a few people who get the time and opportunity to learn the language to see things for what the really are.. Even if we are in a VR or not. Anyway, we're a strange enough critter contraption to be interesting. Here's a post I recently posted with a little discourse on the topic of how institutional science became trusted official knowledge. x.com/Murry_Rhodes/status/20… Enjoy.. Cheers

Earth’s atmosphere was once much like Venus’s is today. Venus sits 0.2 AU closer to the Sun and barely spins. That’s the dead giveaway. Stop Earth’s rotation and one side becomes a permanent day-side oven — oceans vaporise, H₂O becomes a thick insulating blanket, full runaway greenhouse. Move Earth closer to the Sun without increasing spin to balance the heat load… same result. Simple classical physics and chemistry. For billions of years, Earth has successfully processed far higher CO₂ levels than today through solubility, photosynthesis, and geology. Our current emissions don’t even register on that scale — unless they magically stop the planet spinning or shove us sunward, a Venus-style runaway is not on the menu. There are far scarier things moving in our solar system, but they’re not as profitable for the fear industry and their purchased politicians. Carl Sagan was right: “Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” But he didn’t apply the same scepticism to the institutions of science itself — the funding biases, the political capture, the modern descendants of the Royal Society. Charles II didn’t fund the Royal Society purely for love of truth. After Henry VIII’s Reformation, a king needed a respected body of natural philosophers to publicly demonstrate that nature operated by discoverable laws — not Church decrees. That legacy helped birth the Enlightenment… and perhaps the more secretive networks that followed. Few are guilty of being innocent. Question the fear-mongers. Question the profiteers. And question the new priesthood wearing lab coats.

He's easily distorted because he's already so exceptional, the average can't grasp the dimensions. I'm proud of your son with you!

Mainstream sunnism, outside of sufism, has robbed Islam of its spiritual dimensions and turned to an empty skeleton of medieval Fiqh and a 1 Dimensional Aqeeda.

2/3 Al-Asharah al-Mubarakah: The Ten Blessed Days The first ten days of Muharram are dedicated to the remembrance of Imam Husayn, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad. For Tayyibi Ismailis, this mourning is not mere historical weeping; it is an active, spiritual reconnection with the core struggle of the Ahl al-Bayt (the Prophet's family) against tyranny, injustice, and oppression. ->Majalis (Sermons): Community members attend daily gatherings where the Da'i al-Mutlaq (the spiritual leader of the community) or his deputies deliver sermons. ->Tale of Karbala: These sessions recount the harrowing details of the Battle of Karbala, focusing on the ultimate sacrifice made by Imam Husayn and his faithful companions for the sake of true religion. ->Spiritual Edification: The mourning acts as a spiritual catharsis, meant to cleanse the soul of worldly attachments and inspire adherents to stand firm in their faith. The Esoteric (Batin) Significance Ismaili philosophy, particularly the Tayyibi school, emphasizes both the exoteric (Zahir) and esoteric (Batin) dimensions of faith. In this light, the martyrdom of Imam Husayn is rich with symbolic meaning: ->Light (Noor) vs. Darkness: The sacrifice at Karbala represents the eternal struggle of divine light and truth against the forces of spiritual darkness and zulm (injustice/tyranny). ->The Ultimate Truth: The suffering endured by Imam Husayn and his family is viewed as the ultimate test of patience (sabr) and submission to the Divine Will, demonstrating supreme spiritual devotion.

(Part 2/2) Storing values as a WeakRef prevents your objects from leaking, but it leaves stale, empty keys behind inside your cache Map after collection. To achieve zero manual cleanup without writing arbitrary eviction timers or TTL logic, you pair your weak references with a FinalizationRegistry: Automated Callbacks:- A FinalizationRegistry listens directly to the engine's garbage collector. The exact moment an object is freed from memory, it fires a clean-up callback to run cache.delete(key). When to Use It:- This is a performance optimization for optional data-expensive parsed ASTs, computed image data, non-critical memoization, or DOM dimensions that are easily reproducible. When to Avoid It:- Never use weak references for critical state, authentication tokens, session data, or core business logic dependencies. WeakRef is optional data, not a guaranteed state mechanism. Take a look at the attached slides for the automated key registry workflow and the comprehensive API reference cheat sheet. Make sure to bookmark the top of this thread for the next time you're profiling memory profiles or building a client-side design system. 🏛️

When an ecom founder tells me "we tried a 20% discount on x product and it didn't work," that sentence carries almost no information. They tried one configuration of one, out of dozens. Once you can name the mechanic and set all six dimensions with intent you'll have a more reliable system to turn the traffic you already have into buyers.
1
1. Discount - price cuts, first-time buyer gates 2. Bundle & quantity - kits, BOGO, tiered pricing, good-better-best 3. Mystery - boxes, scratch-to-win, spin-the-wheel 4. Gift & value-add - gift with purchase, free shipping, non-discount perks 5. Subscription - subscribe & save, memberships 6. Risk reversal - guarantees, try-before-you-buy, warranties 7. Scarcity & urgency - time limits, limited releases, waitlists 8. Add-on - upsell, cross-sell, downsell Pick the category. Then move on to the 6 dimensions to turn them into an actual offer.
