You must be a complete retard to think that a full browser a faulty language (JavaScript) npm bloat full of security breaches is superior to Qt.
The lack of lightweight apps is more a skill issue than lack of good platforms.
Electron is a resource waste that makes computers need more RAM, SPACE, CPU AND GPU TIME leading to increased energy usage making computers more expensive to buy and to use, all that just to show you a gradient button moving forward on hover.
Electron gained traction when web developers began creating desktop browser wrapped apps (CEF), the same kind of developers who can't tell a package.json from a shopping list.
You could at least use Sciter without npm packages, you'll get same visual results without the heavy resource waste (single-threaded, 20-40mb ram, multiple renderers: direct2d, skia, cairo, gdi ), just a bit buggy here and there.
