At the bus stop, Sam counted people.
One man used a cane.
A woman wore hearing aids.
A teenager struggled to breathe after climbing the steps.
Sam’s own hands shook from anxiety.
None of them looked the same.
None of them fit one idea of disability.
That’s when Sam understood: disability isn’t rare or far away. It’s right here, in everyday moments, affecting people of all ages.
Over 1 billion people worldwide live with some form of disability.
Disability is not a small group.
It’s part of being human.
