A machine capable of running very demanding quantum algorithms would almost certainly require many chips working together. 🌐⚛️
But how could you interconnect those chips, and what might it cost?
In our new paper, we dig into exactly this, proposing a method to interconnect chips, and encouragingly, find that a modular approach could come with almost no extra cost vs a monolithic one. 👀
