Imagine a quantum computer powerful enough to run Shor’s algorithm, what do you picture? 🤔 Probably something large… but probably not one giant chip. A machine capable of running very demanding quantum algorithms would almost certainly require many chips working together. 🌐⚛️ But how could you interconnect those chips, and what might it cost? Indeed, I couldn't agree more @KikeSolanoPhys and I add: linking #quantumcomputing to #quantumnetworks might offer a way forward in #quantumcomputation and maybe offer #solutions to overcome #quantumerrors. I think #distributedquantumcomputing is an interesting idea.
