We have entered the Plant Science Pathway trimester and are off to the races! This past week- we have begun building our new greenhouse tables, prepping for the sale, and NOW we have our plants in the greenhouse! Today, Grundy Center Ag & FFA joined our Horticulture and Plant Science classes as both Greenhouse programs particpiated in industry tours. Our first stop was @PlantpeddlerInc in Cresco. Students got to see a commerical setup and their growth over the years! Then we picked up our plugs from ACME Greenhouse near Riceville. As always, Kevin and his team are awesome to work with! We brought our starter plugs home and we will begin repotting and designing hanging baskets starting Wednesday!
